Cristiano Ronaldo and Arbeloa hit back at Gerard Pique over twitter mockery

Real Madrid was last week expelled out of the Copa del Rey for fielding an ineligible player, Cherishev and Barcelona player Gerard Pique, known to cause controversy in Spanish football, went on Twitter to show his happiness at Madrid's woes. Pique posted laughing enoji on Twitter last week just after news filtered in that Madrid will be expelled from the tournament.

And just yesterday, Real Madrid Players Ronaldo and Arbeloa hit back at him. What they said after the cut...

"Pique seems obsessed with us,” said Alvaro Arbeloa after Real Madrid's 8-0 win over Malmo. “We’ll leave our wounds open and we’ll respond at the opportune moment."

“Maybe one day I’ll pop The Comedy Club on and he’ll be on there talking about Madrid.” Ronaldo replied:“the thing with Pique’s tweet is that it doesn’t even deserve a comment. It doesn’t merit the publicity. I don’t talk about these things because it’s a waste of time.”
